Bird's Nest

Over the last few days, we've noticed twigs on the stairs.  KC assumed they were blown there from the wind.  Jake noticed more twigs this morning, and heard the bird fly away while he was walking down.  He thought it must be a stupid bird, and there would be no way she would actually build a nest in the stairway.

Well, this afternoon KC went down the stairs to help Jake carry some packages up.  When she started down the stairs she heard the bird fly away.  When she got to the second flight of stairs she not only saw a nest, but an egg too!

The bird seemed to be confused on which level she was building a nest because there were sticks on the second and third floor stairs...  Good luck little egg, we wish you the best!
